What are the effects of CBD and THC when they work together?

Cannabis can have more than 120 different types of phytocannabinoids. These can be your endocannabinoid system. It works to have your body in balance or homeostasis. Tetrahydrocannabinol and cannabidiol are the most well-researched and well-known phytocannabinoids. People are using THC and CBD in other ways and they can use them separately or you can use it together.

Other studies have suggested that using it together with the smaller organic compounds in the plant. Those are known as terpenes or terpenoids. Because of its interaction between the terpenes and phytocannabinoids. It is called the entourage effect.

The entourage effect is the compounds that work together. And once it is taken both they will give you a better effect than taking it alone.

How does the ratio of THC to CBD work?

As the THC and CBD can be better when it is taken together than alone. But it is important for you to remember that its effect can be different from anyone else. And the use of it is also different for everyone.

There is a person that has Crohn’s disease. It uses cannabis-based medicine for its nausea relief. It will be a different ratio of THC to CBD than those who are using muscle pain. There is no same dosage for everybody.

And once you are taking any other medications. You need to remember that using marijuana is illegal on a federal level but it is legal on other state laws. If you decided to try CBD and you decided not to take THC. You can look for some CBD isolate products instead of having full-spectrum CBD. It has a range of cannabinoids and it may have 0.3% THC. That is not too high but this can show on drug tests.

Having terpenes and cannabinoids needs to interact together. The same as the brain’s receptors. It is known as the entourage effect. And there is some proof that the entourage effect makes THC and CBD work together. Rather than taking it alone. But it is still a theory and they need more research about the cannabis plant. And other compounds that can have medical benefits.
